Welcome to the party, kicking it off with our meme of the week (because we all need a lol today). Scroll down for some real BOLD value..

Kicking off with our meme of the week 🙂

Now that’s out the way.. let’s dive into all the highlights!

London Fam: Join us for ‘Let’s Get Visible’ next week in Soho 👇️

Have you every thought about your future BOLD self? Who are they? What are they doing? How do they move?

Well.. I’m going to help you meet them next week 💘

For our next BOLD event, I'm joining forces with the amazing ladies from Bond to Bloom and co-hosting it for the first time with Amy Kiernan at The Little Violet Door Soho. Amy is an ex-twitter colleague (yes - we briefly worked for Elon ☠️ ), the founder of UpLevel Coaching, and the coach who helped me overcome major self doubt at the beginning of my entrepreneurial journey. I wouldn’t be doing this today if it wasn’t for Amy- and to host our first event together is making my soul so happy!

‘Let’s Get Visible’ is an evening designed to inspire women entrepreneurs to allow them to embrace the cringe, and feel ok about being visible online. I'll open the event sharing my own journey with visibility, and although I started out riddled with self-doubt, I found ways to overcome it, bringing me to today where I’m a LinkedIn Top Voice, running my entire business on my personal brand. We've also got an incredible panel (Including Charlotte Singmin all the way from Canada, Shay Loko from LinkedIn, and the wonderful ladies from Candid Studios- Aimee and Lily) and we wrap up with a fireside between Amy and I (the Cork takeover ☘️ ) on all things authenticity and overcoming self doubt. Joining forces with event experts Sydney and Danielle (all the way from Canada), we can guarantee you some serious vibes 🎵

..the best part? Tickets are buy 1 + bring a friend for FREE.

While you’re in town, make sure you run to get your self-portrait with Candid. They’ve even given BOLDies a code: CANDIDISBOLD (15% off)

BOLD Value: Just for you 👊

If you read ONE thing this week, let it be my favourite Solopreneur, Justin Welsh’s newsletter. He breaks down how he built his online business to 11million with an 89% profit margin - yes, you read that right.

LinkedIn also published an article about how creators are influencing buyers.

The TL:DR is:

  • 75% of B2B buyers spend more time researching purchases now than ever before through creator content

  • 65% of B2B buyers say they trust thought leadership from creators more than content from brands

  • Short-form video is booming: 63% of decision-makers say video content influences their buying decisions

  • Two-thirds of buyers are more likely to consider a brand after seeing content from a creator they follow

  • The messenger matters just as much as the message & authentic content wins.

This podcast from Jay Clouse’s Creator Science with Caleb Ralston is excellent. He’s the brains behind GaryVee and Hormozi’s personal brands, and he gives us all the secrets.

Finally, I made you all a little AI podcast on the Influencer Marketing Report 2024 from Influencer Marketing Hub + Viral Nation (because who has time for getting deep into these things - we’re all busy hustling).

Straight from BOLD oven for readers:

Firstly, my current favourite tool (a 1-stop shop for creators) is Stan.

I’m giving a £99 (£299) Profile Audit & Transformation session to my newsletter readers 🫵

And finally, I’ve curated all of my LinkedIn content knowledge into a beautiful Notion Template just for you, filled with prompts, tips and tools - designed to be a 1-stop-shop for your LinkedIn Content (also ADHD friendly).. grab it here.

BOLD Community News 💗

Our very own BOLDie Jo Millet (an OG from the start AND fellow Bristolian) was featured in Freelancer Magazine. To say we were shook is an understatement. If you’ve been a freelancer in the UK, you know how big this is. Jo is an editorial genius, an ex-comedian, and just an all-round legend. She posts hilarious content about being a mum running a business, mid life crisis’ inspired crop tops, alongside incredibly helpful tips on how to grow on LinkedIn.

Jo and I work on the bigger client projects together, as we basically do the same thing. BOLD women know that there’s room for everyone at the table. Together we’re a force for LinkedIn good 🔥

My Updates:

Amy, the human block of Mozzarella

I’ll keep this brief, because if I were you I’d be losing focus at this stage. I spent last week on a solo trip in Italy, in a tiny coastal town called Sperlonga. I tried to listen to the Eat Pray Love audiobook, but I as much as I love Elizabeth Gilbert, I quickly got the ick from her Italian accent.

I ate my way around the town every day. I drank coffee, sat in the sun, listened to my favourite music, journaled, and caught up on my long list - I event went to the opera.

Working for myself means I can get away like this now and again so although it’s not easy running a business, doing this makes it SO worth it.

If you’ve never gone on a solo trip because you’re terrified, this is your sign to go. Start small (24-48 hours) and build from there. It’s absolutely life-changing feeling able to head off on a solo adventure.

These were my evening views👇️ and yes that’s an Aperol Spritz #basic

That’s all for now BOLDies..
